Professor Abkar Abd al-Banat, a member of the Union of Afro-Asia Universities, representing the union, is participating in the celebrations of the International Islamic University Chittagong in Bangladesh for the 25th anniversary of the university’s establishment.

By a kind invitation from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Islamic University in Bangladesh, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and the President of the Union of Afro-Asia Universities, to participate in the university’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The Union’s administration welcomed this kind invitation and responded by participating, represented by Professor Abkar Abd al-Banat, a member of the Union’s scientific committees and former Director of the University of the Holy Quran and Its Sciences in Sudan.
Professor Abkar Abd al-Banat thanked Professor Nizamuddin Muhammad Abu al-Rida al-Nadawi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, a member of the Bangladeshi Parliament, and the esteemed Sheikh Professor Qazi Din Muhammad, the President of the university, and the organizing committee for the warm hospitality received, from the airport reception to the accommodation and hosting.
It is worth noting that the International Islamic University Chittagong in Bangladesh is one of the Afro-Asian universities that contributed to the establishment of the Union since 2016 and participated in drafting the Union’s executive regulations.
