Vision and Mission:

Scientific communication for human in order to provide scientific and knowledge consultations and studies that meet the needs of Afro-Asia universities according to the needs of societies and to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.

The Message:

  1.  Building a scientific entity expressing unity, complementarity and cooperation between the universities of the two continents, characterized by a team spirit and a supportive partnership to exchange competencies and scientific experiences to create a scientific environment that stimulates creativity, excellence and innovation.
  2.  Achieving a global scientific and cultural leadership by extending bridges of communication between the Union’s members and scientific bodies and institutions to meet the requirements of contemporary reality and the renaissance of the two continents and their advancement and unity in the scientific, research and knowledge field and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and friendship.

Objectives:

The Union seeks to achieve the following goals (in addition to what was agreed upon in the draft of the Union project):

  1. Contribute to the formation, development, and dissemination of the contemporary human and cultural achievement of humanity, and consolidate interest in studies and scientific and academic research in order to closely combine originality and contemporarily.
  2. Building and building bridges of communication between university presidents, intellectuals, thinkers and decision makers in a manner that serves education at all levels and levels and knowledge in all its fields and branches.
  3. Establishing a university that expresses unity and integration among the members of the Union and that will have a contribution to knowledge exchange and meeting the needs in different specializations, and will open its doors to the people of the two continents in the name of “The Union of Afro-Asia Universities”.
  4. Establishing research institutes and centers with the aim of increasing expertise and skills in specific disciplines.
  5. Caring for future political, economic, social and cultural studies related to Africa and Asia.
  6. Encouraging scientific research and creativity and raising its level of service to societies and their development.
  7. Working to create qualitative standards in line with international standards in order to improve the quality and efficiency of higher education in Africa and Asia.
  8. The Federation sponsors joint scientific projects and research among the Union members and provides the necessary facilities.
  9. Keep abreast of developments in information and communication technology and employ them in management and academic programs in terms of content, teaching methods and evaluation.
  10. Providing a database for the university educational sector in Africa and Asia in order to improve and develop the outcomes of the university educational process.
  11. Implement comprehensive programs to build the institutional capacities of universities in order to enable them to efficiently and efficiently manage their business and to have self-reliant financial and administrative systems.
  12. Strengthening cooperation relations with global and regional bodies and organizations related to the Union’s goals and actions.
  13. Cooperate in creating and updating courses and curricula to keep pace with contemporary reality and the requirements of the labor market, and strive to equate programs, decisions, scientific, academic and research certificates among members of the Union in the service of science students.

Means:

In order to achieve its goals, the Union seeks to adopt a number of means, including the following:

  1. Holding scientific meetings such as conferences, seminars, lectures, scientific programs and workshops.
  2. Issuing publications from books, magazines, scientific and cultural studies that achieve the goals and objectives of the Union.
  3. Concluding cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding with universities, institutes, institutions and organizations of mutual interest.
  4. Conducting research and knowledge studies to serve the practical and educational programs and their goals.
  5. Establish a website and use social media to publicize the Union’s mission and goals.
  6. Any legitimate means that the General Secretariat deems appropriate to achieve the Union’s mission.
  7. Establishment of a virtual university (distance education), scientific and research institutes, centers and academies that meet scientific needs in the various disciplines of science students in cooperation between the members of the Union.
