1- Monitoring the economic, social, scientific and political effects of Corona.
2- Developing strategic plans as a compensatory alternative to previous plans that did not contain the effects of the Corona crisis, while presenting visions and solutions according to concepts that include three levels (near – medium – long term).
3- That these plans and visions are consistent with the available capabilities and are applicable and take into account their economic, social, scientific and political dimensions.
Dr. Ashraf Abdel Rafeh spoke about what was monitored until the conference date.
1- The union monitored shocking repercussions in the network of economic relations, and the amazing indicator was the statement of the unexpected gap between supply and demand and between the consumer’s need and the factory and product strategy, and the absence of an economic map or manufacturing strategy for necessities and priorities that can be relied upon in facing crises, which requires an inevitable necessity to change the marketing map.
2- The absence of economic awareness, whether in scientific incubators or among individuals, and the confinement of that awareness among specialists, with a difference in visions, proposals and plans according to the conviction of each group and their intellectual doctrine.. as it was observed that the vision, thought, proposal and strategy of the owner of the capitalist thought differs from the nature of the awareness of the owner of the socialist thought, and so on.
3- The crisis revealed that the economic dependence of many countries in Africa and Asia, especially the Arab countries, on the centrality of the dollar banknote did not protect them or provide them with the necessary vaccine against the virus of economic collapse and protect the prices of their oil barrels. This crisis revealed the necessity of breaking away from this dependence and the importance of forming an alliance in which all parties are equal, while giving each party the freedom to deal with the banknote that achieves its interest and returns it with benefit, especially the reciprocal dealing with each party’s paper.
4- Relying on specific resources for the local economy has proven its failure, and it is imperative to develop alternatives and diverse strategic plans for resources as sources of income.
5- The Federation of Afro-Asian Universities, through its specialized experts in the Supreme Advisory Board, observed that the Corona crisis revealed that 80% of industries in Islamic countries, except for Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan, are entertainment consumer industries and cannot be used in crisis management.
6- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities observed the absence of research production and research laboratories and the disconnection of the relationship between universities and scientific institutions with each other, whether within the framework of a single state or scientific partnerships between countries in particular, and the disconnection of the relationship between scientific institutions and industrial institutions in general. This leads us to the necessity of intermarriage between scientific institutions and industrial institutions to achieve mutual benefit and to activate the patents and scientific research that have filled university warehouses and revive them from death.
7- The necessity of establishing an economic unity between the continents of Africa and Asia and dealing with a unified currency similar to the euro to break the barrier of dollar dominance and use the Afro-Asian currency in trade exchange while retaining the local currency for circulation.
8- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities monitored the impact of economic changes on the inability to achieve food security for long periods, and this revealed the error of the political system related to the food strategy and the absence of a culture of resource management and crisis management and the lack of diversity in the food basket system.
9- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities monitored the lack of government spending on social benefits and the increase in unemployment, poverty and destitution and the lack of awareness of social solidarity, except for the Republic of Rwanda, Turkey, the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Tunisia, which showed the ideal model of state solidarity with its citizens.

10- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities monitored the absence of a knowledge economy in many countries of the continents of Africa and Asia, with the exception of China, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Japan and Rwanda.
11- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities monitored the financial misdirection and waste of wealth in many countries of the continents of Africa and Asia, and that the wealth, efforts and equipment spent to feed sectarianism, partisan, religious and political conflicts and the resulting wars, unrest, disturbances, destruction of infrastructure, spreading poverty and ignorance, spreading hatred, division, exclusion and bloodshed had a final yield of zero, and that the outcome of what was spent was enough to change the map of many countries of Africa and Asia and their people to what is better.
12- The Union of Afro-Asian Universities monitored the necessity of restructuring the educational field, starting with the strategy and plans for universities, institutes, schools and scientific institutions, and that their curricula, curricula, teaching methods, learning tools and outputs be linked to the needs of the labor market and issues of contemporary reality and meet the needs of society.
13- The necessity of creating self-financing resources for universities and not being satisfied with government support, with the necessity of the independence of their policy, strategy, management and research projects away from partisan, political, sectarian and racist frameworks.
At the end of the speech, Professor Dr. Ashraf Abdel Rafeh Al-Darfaili extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Badria Suleiman, President of the Arab Women Leaders Union, Professor Dr. Hala Adly Hussein, Secretary General of the Arab Women Leaders Union, and Professor Dr. Sabah Al-Hakim, the official spokesperson for the Arab Women Leaders Union, for their great efforts in coordination, organization, preparation and communication until the conference came out in its appropriate and honorable form
